What we make
Hush writes and records original lullabies to order. You give us details about a child and the words you want said; a songwriter turns those into lyrics and a melody, and the song is produced with a lead vocal and delivered to you as an audio file.
Production is AI-assisted. A human writes the lyrics and shapes the melody from your story. We use AI-assisted production tools to arrange, record and master the recording to studio quality within 7 days. We state this plainly because we would rather you know.
Orders and delivery
- We aim to deliver within 7 days of receiving your completed order form. Rush orders are delivered within the window stated at checkout.
- If anything you have written is unclear, we may email you before starting. That pauses the clock until you reply.
- Delivery is digital, by a private link. Nothing is shipped unless you buy a physical add-on.
- We may decline or refund an order — for example if the request is abusive, defamatory, or asks us to impersonate a real person’s voice without their consent.
Revisions
We will rewrite your song as many times as it takes to get it right, at no extra cost, for 30 days after delivery. Tell us what is wrong — a name pronounced incorrectly, a line that does not sound like you — and we will fix it.
What you can do with your song
On payment you receive a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive licence to use your recording for personal, non-commercial purposes. That includes playing it at home, at a party, a christening, a wedding or a memorial, and sharing the file or link with family and friends.
It does not include: selling the recording, distributing it to streaming services, using it in advertising or other commercial work, or claiming authorship. If you want commercial rights, write to us and we will discuss it.
We keep ownership of the recording and the composition. Note that under United States law, material generated without human authorship may not be eligible for copyright protection — so neither of us can guarantee exclusivity in every element of an AI-assisted recording.
What you promise us
- The details you submit are yours to share. If your story involves another adult’s private circumstances, you have their permission.
- You are at least 18 and, if the song concerns a child, you are their parent or guardian or have permission from one.
- You will not ask us to reproduce existing copyrighted lyrics or melodies.
Your voice, if you send one
If you buy the tier where the song is sung in your own voice, you grant us permission to process and edit that recording for the purpose of producing your song. We do not use your voice for any other customer, to train models, or for anything else. Ask us to delete the source recording after delivery and we will.
Clips and reviews
We only use a customer’s photo, video or words in our advertising with permission. Where a customer received a free song, a refund, a discount or an upgrade in exchange for a clip, we label it as incentivized. You can withdraw permission for future use at any time by emailing us.
Liability
We provide the song as described and stand behind it with rewrites and refunds. Beyond that, our total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss — for example an event going ahead without the song.
Changes and law
We may update these terms; the version in force is the one published when you order. These terms are governed by the laws of [State], and any dispute will be handled in the courts of [County, State].
